Iran is ready to resume nuclear talks with Washington as long as it is treated with "dignity" and "respect", Tehran's top diplomat has stated.

Abbas Araghchi said exclusively dialogue was effective, and disclosed fresh requests had originated from intermediaries to restart talks with the US government. He asserted Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Iran was not yet able to allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Navigating a Difficult Course

The foreign minister is treading a difficult course since Iran aims to avoid appear to be proceeding from a stance of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged stronger in military terms and mentally from the joint assault on its enrichment centers in June.

He was talking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to process nuclear material within its borders that it will always maintain" – the key factor of the stalemate in the earlier negotiations.

Prior Talks Unexpectedly Ended

Afterward, EU nations employed their authority to reinstate UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a major impact.

Magic Solution Offered

Iranian officials said they felt they had reached a "perfect agreement" to the nuclear fuel concern in previous talks, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with American involvement could enrich uranium. The two nations would have been able to claim victory since home-based processing would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been agreed in the negotiations that US nuclear scientists could operate on Iranian soil, but that was a logical implication of the consortium proposal. Officials asserted three times they had secured an understanding with Washington's diplomat the American negotiator only for the agreement to collapse due to "detractors in America".

Existing Position

Tehran representatives stated the partnership proposal was now off the table, but it seems highly likely the proposal could be reintroduced in certain ways if talks restart.

The Iran's state department has been criticized of passivity in the wake of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Iran says negotiations is not part of a performance.

Diplomatic Position

In his speech to the conference, intended to depict the US as a dominant force that abuses the idea of worldwide standards, the foreign minister said the two-week conflict revealed the conflict could not be settled by armed force. He asserted the assaults commenced with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and concluded with an absolute demand for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is assured the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were executed with complete American awareness and cooperation, making faith difficult to restore.

Araghchi stated: "Tehran was not the one that had fled negotiations; it was America and the western countries that had consistently attempted to impose their will during the talks.
